In a major move towards empowering India's farming sector, the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the ambitious "PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana". What is PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana?

The scheme will be launched in the financial year 2025-26 and will continue for the next six years. Initially, it will be implemented in 100 districts selected on the basis of low crop productivity, fewer crop cycles, and limited agricultural credit access.
