Farmer registration for the procurement of paddy, jowar, and bajra at Minimum Support Price (MSP) is currently underway in Madhya Pradesh. So far, 468,946 farmers have registered, and the process will continue until October 10. Last year, a total of 784,845 farmers had registered under this scheme.
Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput has urged farmers to complete their registration on time to avoid any inconvenience during the procurement process. He added that this year, the registration system has been made simpler and more convenient for farmers. For this purpose, 1,255 registration centers have been set up across the state.
In addition, large numbers of farmers from Seoni, Mandla, Shahdol, Singrauli, Sidhi, Mauganj, Umaria, Anuppur, Panna, Damoh, and Narmadapuram districts have also registered.
Registration Under Bhavantar Scheme for Soybean Farmers:
Along with MSP procurement, the state government has also launched the Bhavantar Scheme for soybean farmers. Registration for this scheme began on October 3, 2025, and will continue until October 17, 2025. So far, 61,970 farmers have registered on the portal.
Assured Fair Price for Farmers:
The Government of India has fixed the MSP of soybean at ₹5,328 per quintal. The state government has assured that, just like paddy and wheat, soybean farmers will also receive fair value for their produce.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed all district collectors to ensure farmers get the rightful price for their crops without any malpractice. He emphasized that benefits must directly reach farmers’ bank accounts without any irregularities.
