Crop damaged? Don’t worry! MP government sends ₹238 crore compensation to farmers of these 6 districts

The Madhya Pradesh government is set to provide major relief to farmers affected by heavy rains, floods, and yellow mosaic pest attacks. Through a single-click transfer, ₹238.78 crore will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of 3,05,410 farmers across the state.

Farmers from 23 tehsils of Sheopur, Harda, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Dhar, and Khandwa districts will benefit from this financial assistance. In addition, development projects worth over ₹162.55 crore will be inaugurated and launched at the Morena district headquarters.

Major Development Projects to Be Launched in Baroda:

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several key infrastructure projects in Baroda. These include:

• Inauguration of the Tribal Boys’ Hostel in Sesaipura

(Cost: ₹2.75 crore, Department of Tribal Welfare)

• Foundation stone for the Nursing College building in Sheopur

(Cost: ₹14.80 crore)

• 50-bed Integrated AYUSH Hospital in Sheopur

(Cost: ₹14.95 crore)

• Horticulture & Food Processing Knowledge Center in Sheopur

(Cost: ₹96 lakh)

• New 33/11 kV power sub-stations in Laharoni, Balawani, and Dabipura

(Total cost: ₹7.63 crore)

Beneficiaries of multiple welfare schemes will also receive benefits during the event.
Morena to Receive Major Boost in Healthcare & Education Infrastructure
In Morena, the Chief Minister will perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ayurvedic Medical College, to be built at a cost of ₹70 crore. The campus will include:

• A 100-bed modern hospital
• Hostels for 100 students
• Staff quarters
• A high-tech pharmacy unit
• A research wing
• A large herbal garden

Advanced laboratories for producing high-quality Ayurvedic medicines:

The project is expected to create direct and indirect employment opportunities for nearly 20 nearby villages, while improving healthcare access in the region.
Two New Schools to Strengthen Educational Infrastructure

The Chief Minister will also inaugurate two major school buildings:

• Government Sandipani Higher Secondary School, Goth (Cost: ₹31.27 crore)
• Government Sandipani Excellence Higher Secondary School, Ambah (Cost: ₹38.33 crore)

These institutions will provide modern educational facilities to thousands of students. Currently, the Goth school has 812 students, while the Ambah school has 1,799 students. To improve the learning environment, 27 teachers have been appointed in Goth and 52 teachers in Ambah.

Morena to Get a Modern Administrative Complex:

A significant push for administrative reform will come with the inauguration of the Joint Tehsil and SDM Office Building, constructed at a cost of ₹19.02 crore. After shifting to the new facility:

• Administrative services will become more transparent and efficient.
• Nearly 7.52 lakh residents across 182 villages will benefit from smoother, faster governance.
