Good news for farmers in Madhya Pradesh! To make farming easier and more modern, the state government has announced subsidies on 8 essential agricultural implements. The application process started on 2nd September 2025, and farmers can directly apply through the E-Krishi Yantra Portal.
With this scheme, costly but vital machines like Happy Seeder, Super Seeder, Mulcher, and Baler will now be available to farmers at a much lower price. The aim is to ensure that even small and marginal farmers can use modern tools and make farming more profitable and less labor-intensive.
This time, the scheme includes the following 8 implements:
Happy Seeder
Super Seeder
Smart Seeder
Shredder / Mulcher
Zero Till Seed-cum-Fertilizer Drill
Baler
Hay Rake / Straw Rake
Slasher
These implements are highly beneficial as they help reduce farming costs and increase productivity.
All farmers who apply before the last date will be considered.
Based on the total number of applications, the target allocation will be decided.
Selection will be done through a lottery system, and the results will be published on the portal.
The scheme is open to all categories of farmers in Madhya Pradesh.
The farmer must have a tractor registered in their name.
Farmers who have already availed a subsidy on these same implements under any government scheme in the last 5 years are not eligible.
The subsidy percentage depends on the farmer category:
Small & Marginal Farmers → 40% to 50% of unit cost
Other Farmers → 30% to 40% of unit cost
Farmers can also use the Subsidy Calculator available on the official website to check their exact subsidy amount.
At the time of application, farmers must submit a demand draft (security deposit) according to the implement chosen:
Happy Seeder – ₹4,500
Super Seeder – ₹4,500
Smart Seeder – ₹4,500
Shredder / Mulcher – ₹5,500
Zero Till Seed-cum-Fertilizer Drill – ₹3,000
Baler – ₹15,000
Hay Rake / Straw Rake – ₹5,000
Slasher – ₹2,000
Applications without the deposit will not be accepted.
Farmers need to upload the following documents while applying:
Aadhaar Card
Bank Passbook
Caste Certificate
Copy of B-1 land record
Electricity Connection Certificate
Passport-size Photograph
Mobile Number
Farmers can apply directly on the E-Krishi Yantra Subsidy Portal:

Alternatively, applications can also be made through the nearest MP Online Center or CSC Center.
Important: The application process can only be completed through E-KYC (fingerprint authentication).
Through this scheme, farmers will get modern agricultural equipment at subsidized rates. Implements like the Happy Seeder and Mulcher will help with crop residue management, while the Baler and Zero Till Drill will save time, labor, and costs.
The government’s vision is to make farming profitable, efficient, and accessible for small and marginal farmers by promoting the use of modern machinery.
