Dr. Mohan Yadav directly transferred ₹233 crore to the accounts of 1,33,000 farmers under the Soybean Price Difference Scheme.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Bhavantar Payment Scheme has now become synonymous with the upliftment of farmers. Fulfilling its promise within just 15 days, the state government has transferred ₹233 crore directly into the bank accounts of more than 1.33 lakh soybean farmers under the Soybean Bhavantar Scheme.
He informed that last year the procurement price of soybean was ₹4,800 per quintal, whereas this year farmers are receiving over ₹5,300 per quintal—an increase of ₹500 per quintal.

1. Madhya Pradesh - First State in India to Implement the Bhavantar Scheme:

The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, farmer-centric schemes are being implemented effectively across the state. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to introduce the Bhavantar Scheme to ensure farmers receive fair prices for their produce. This year, more than 9 lakh farmers have registered to sell soybean under the scheme.

2. Foundation Laid for Development Works Worth ₹183 Crore in Dewas:

During an event organized in Dewas district, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹183.25 crore and distributed benefits under various schemes. He also visited an exhibition promoting organic farming and modern agricultural machinery.

3. Transparent Procurement Across 220 Main and 80 Sub-Mandis:

The Chief Minister announced that farmers can sell soybean in mandis till January 15. Procurement is currently underway in more than 220 main mandis and 80 sub-mandis across the state. The entire process is being conducted transparently through the e-Mandi portal, featuring:

  • Automatic display of farmers’ data
  • Real-time entries
  • CCTV monitoring
  • Direct online payment into bank accounts

For assistance, a dedicated Bhavantar helpline/call center has also been set up.

4. Stubble Management: Launch of Compressed Bio-Gas Plants:

The Chief Minister said that both farmers and soldiers are the pride of the nation.
To address the problem of crop residue (stubble), compressed bio-gas plants are being set up across the state.
Farmers adopting natural farming are being provided ₹4,000 per acre as financial support. Under the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Scheme, farmers setting up a ₹40 lakh dairy unit can avail a subsidy of up to ₹10 lakh.

5. Women’s Economic Empowerment Through ‘Ladli Behna’ Scheme:

The Chief Minister highlighted that the increased financial support provided to women under the Ladli Behna Yojana reflects the pride of the state’s cultural heritage. The assistance amount has been raised to ₹1,500 per month.
He added, “Where goddesses reside, that land is Dewas.” Referring to the Dewas currency note press, he said that the country’s economic strength is powered not only by currency notes but also by crops like soybean, cotton, and wheat.

6. ₹1,000 Bonus on ‘Shri Anna’ (Millets):

The state government has announced a bonus of ₹1,000 per quintal for the purchase of millets such as kodo and kutki. Farmers growing paddy and wheat have also received bonus benefits. The Chief Minister added that from now on, financial benefits under various schemes will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts every 7 days.

7. Dewas Leads the State in Bhavantar Registration:

Agriculture Minister Shri Edal Singh Kanshana stated that Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country where the Bhavantar Scheme is operational. Dewas district has recorded the highest number of registrations under this scheme.
