To improve irrigation facilities and promote water-efficient farming practices, the Madhya Pradesh Department of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development has started the online application process for providing subsidies on irrigation equipment under the Per Drop More Crop (PDMC) scheme.

Farmers can now avail government assistance for modern irrigation systems such as drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, and mini sprinklers. Eligible farmers can submit their applications through the e-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal from July 13 to July 31.

Subsidy Support for Drip and Sprinkler Irrigation Equipment:

According to agriculture department officials, the main objective of the PDMC scheme is to encourage farmers to adopt water-saving irrigation technologies and improve water-use efficiency in agriculture. Through this initiative, farmers will be able to use advanced irrigation systems that help deliver water directly and efficiently to crops. Adoption of drip and sprinkler systems can reduce water wastage, improve crop growth, and enhance overall productivity.

Farmers Must Apply Online Before July 31:

Deputy Director of Agriculture Umesh Kumar Kathare informed that farmers interested in availing benefits under the scheme must complete the online application process through the e-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal. Farmers can register and submit their applications by visiting the official portal: https://farmer.mpdage.org. The department has advised farmers to complete the application process within the given deadline to ensure timely approval and benefits.
