The Agriculture Department of Madhya Pradesh has launched a new scheme to benefit farmers. From 23rd September 2025, applications will be accepted through the E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal for modern agricultural machines including the SMS – Straw Management System, Rizers, Sugarcane Ratoon Manager, and Sugarcane Cutter Planter.

Based on the applications received, district-wise targets will be determined. After this, a lottery will be conducted to finalize the list of eligible farmers, which will then be published.

Conditions for Straw Management System (SMS)

Farmers applying for the SMS – Straw Management System must own a combine harvester. In addition, they must not have availed any subsidy for this machine in the past.

Demand Draft Requirement

It is mandatory for farmers to submit a Demand Draft (DD) along with their application. Applications without a DD will not be accepted under this scheme.

The DD amounts are as follows:

  • ₹3,500 for SMS – Straw Management System

  • ₹3,000 for Rizer

  • ₹5,000 for Sugarcane Ratoon Manager

  • ₹4,000 for Sugarcane Cutter Planter

Application Process

To apply for the subsidy, farmers must follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal: farmer.mpdage.org.

  2. Log in and select the relevant category and machine.

  3. Fill in all required details and upload necessary documents such as Aadhaar card, bank passbook, B-1 copy, electricity connection certificate, caste certificate, and passport-size photo.

  4. Prepare the required Demand Draft and submit it at the office of the Assistant Agriculture Engineer in the district.

  5. Upon successful submission, farmers will receive an application receipt.
