Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: A high-level Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at the state secretariat has approved a series of major public-interest decisions. The deliberations focused on women’s empowerment, preservation of cultural heritage, and the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure.
The state government has approved an increase in financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, raising the amount from ₹1250 to ₹1500 per month.
The enhancement will require an additional budget allocation of ₹1,793.75 crore in the financial year 2025–26, taking the total estimated annual expenditure to ₹20,450.99 crore.
PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, solar rooftop systems will be installed across government buildings in Madhya Pradesh using the RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) model.
