At a large farmers’ gathering in Kulaith village of Gwalior district, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 41 development projects worth over ₹87.21 crore. He also made several new announcements for regional progress and encouraged farmers to adopt modern technologies after visiting an agricultural exhibition.

Land Registration Support and Solar Pump Distribution:

He announced that the government will bear the full cost of registering leased farmland, making it easier for farmers to access bank credit and government schemes. The administration is also promoting energy self-reliance through the distribution of solar pumps. In addition, the Ken–Betwa Link Project is expected to expand irrigation facilities in multiple regions, including Chambal.

Budget Support for Child Nutrition and Women’s Welfare:

The budget proposes a plan to provide free milk to students from Classes 1 to 8 to support child nutrition. More than ₹23,000 crore has also been allocated for women’s welfare initiatives, reflecting a strong focus on social development.

Encouraging Culture and Rural Traditions:

During the event, the Chief Minister enjoyed folk performances by local artists and announced awards for all 18 participating teams. He also declared cash incentives for participants in a nearby traditional bullock cart race, promoting rural sports and cultural heritage.

Several projects were announced for the area, including road construction, transformer installation, community facilities for pilgrims, sports grounds for youth, and industrial development initiatives. He further assured that certain gram panchayat areas would be declared residential zones and that the Maheshwara stone mine would be reopened.
