Are you looking to maintain soil fertility and eliminate the hassle of burning crop residues (narwai)? Here’s a golden opportunity for you! The Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched a subsidy scheme on modern agricultural machinery such as Super Seeder, Happy Seeder, and Smart Seeder.
Online applications for this scheme started on 5th July 2025. The initiative not only supports environmental conservation but also helps reduce your labor, time, and input costs. The entire application process is transparent, and beneficiary selection will be done through a lottery system.

Based on the number of applications received, district-wise targets will be set. The selection of beneficiaries will be conducted via a lottery, and the lottery date and list will be published on the same portal.
While applying, farmers must submit a Demand Draft (DD) from their own bank account. Applications without the DD will not be considered valid. The DD must be addressed to the Assistant Agricultural Engineer of the concerned district. The deposit amounts are as follows:
Happy Seeder – ₹4,500
Super Seeder – ₹4,500
Smart Seeder – ₹4,500
These advanced machines help manage crop residues without the need for burning. They incorporate the residues into the soil while simultaneously performing sowing operations.
