A wave of transformation is sweeping across Madhya Pradesh as the state government continues to roll out innovative schemes for farmers, youth, and women. Once known as the “Golden Bird,” India is once again seeing a revival of its potential through strategic development. The government is bringing new industrial opportunities and employment every alternate day.
In Sehore’s Badiyakhedi, an investment of ₹2,000 crore is set to fuel the establishment of new industries. This move will create thousands of job opportunities and significantly boost the local economy.
A large-scale procurement system for 1 lakh metric tonnes of vegetables will soon begin in Sehore. This initiative will directly benefit around 2 lakh families in the district. In addition, the region will gain from the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal irrigation project, which will further support agricultural development.
These announcements were made during the foundation stone-laying and Letter of Intent distribution ceremony for new industrial units in Sehore, where over 400 industry representatives participated.
The Madhya Pradesh government also announced that a state-level agriculture fair will be held in Sehore from October 12 to 14. The event will bring together industrialists, farmers, and experts from across the country. The state aims to emerge as a national leader in agriculture and dairy production.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the area under agricultural irrigation in the state has now crossed 52 lakh hectares. Continuous innovation is taking place in sectors like agriculture, education, health, and tourism. The state’s air ambulance service has been praised by several other states. In addition, the government has made arrangements for hearse vans in districts to support poor and needy families.
