Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a Green Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit in the district’s industrial zone, marking a significant step towards an industrial and energy revolution. He said the project would serve as a strong foundation for a New Industrial Era, a New Energy Revolution, and a New Madhya Pradesh. Once infamous for its ravines, Morena is now emerging not just as an agricultural hub but also as a rising center of industry.
The Chief Minister highlighted that with the support of leading companies from Korea and the UK, the upcoming facility will soon begin production of green hydrogen and introduce advanced battery energy storage technology to India. Spread over 7 acres, the plant will directly employ about 500 youth, while also generating numerous indirect employment opportunities. This initiative is expected to strengthen the country’s green energy capacity and pave the way for sustainable growth.
The Chief Minister underlined that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is today playing the role of a guiding nation on the global stage. From the successful G20 Presidency to the International Economic Corridor and Free Trade Agreements, India has shown strong leadership. He further added that flagship initiatives like Make in India, Startup India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat have transformed India into the engine of the 21st-century global growth journey.
Shedding light on regional progress, he said the Gwalior-Chambal belt is now known not only for its history and culture but also for its growing reputation in investment, innovation, and green energy.
Since April 2024, 220 industrial units have been allotted land with an investment pipeline of ₹12,500 crore, creating employment for more than 21,000 youth.

Dr. Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring fair value for farmers’ produce while encouraging agro-based industries. Efforts are also underway to boost dairy production, branding, and marketing of dairy products at the national level.

Recently, the Regional Tourism Conclave in Gwalior attracted investment proposals worth ₹3,500 crore, further underscoring the state’s rising profile as an investment-friendly destination.
