The 'Krishi Udyog Samagam-2025', dedicated to innovation, technological advancement, and farmer welfare in the agriculture and horticulture sectors, is set to take place on May 3, 2025, in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate this major one-day event.
The event will witness the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Deora, Agriculture Minister Shri Edal Singh Kansana, Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, public representatives, and a large number of farmers, FPO representatives, entrepreneurs, and exporters from across the state.
Agricultural and horticulture experts from across the country will provide valuable guidance to farmers and entrepreneurs on the latest technologies, production techniques, and value addition methods.
The exhibition area will showcase cutting-edge agricultural machinery and equipment, including tractors, drones, AI-powered tools, onion-garlic planters, power sprayers, drip irrigation systems, mini sprinklers, mulching sheets, pond lining, net/poly houses, as well as organic and nano fertilizers, animal feed, gaushala products, biofloc models, and aquarium displays.
Farmers and FPOs will witness live demonstrations of natural and organic farming techniques to enhance their knowledge of modern organic methods. The event will also host special interactive sessions between stakeholders involved in medicinal crops, agri-based industries, exporters, and buyers.
On-the-Spot Registration Facility: Multiple departments of the Madhya Pradesh government—including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Agricultural Engineering, MSME, Rural Livelihood Mission, and MP Agro—will participate in the samagam. Farmers will receive information about various government schemes, and on-the-spot registration facilities will also be available. A special video film showcasing agricultural innovations by Mandsaur’s farmers will be screened, serving as a highlight of the event.
Mandsaur: A Leader in Horticulture: Mandsaur district cultivates fruits, vegetables, spices, and medicinal crops across 1.15 lakh hectares. The government aims to promote industries related to these crops and encourage new investments in the sector.
Inauguration of ₹400 Crore Development Projects and Exhibition of State-Level Stalls:
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will inaugurate the Maharshi Sandipani School (CM Rise School) at Chandwasa, built at a cost of ₹33.14 crore. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development works worth ₹400 crore. Additionally, 15 subject-matter experts will deliver lectures on key topics related to agriculture. Eight departments will set up 80 state-level stalls at the samagam, offering farmers insights into advanced farming technologies and innovations.
