The District Food Department, Shivpuri has announced that farmer registration for the procurement of paddy, jowar, and bajra under the Kharif Marketing Year 2025-26 will begin on September 15, 2025, and continue until October 10, 2025.

Appeal to Farmers: The Food Department has urged all farmers to complete their registration within the stipulated period to ensure eligibility for selling paddy, jowar, and bajra at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
The Horticulture Department has initiated the registration process under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) for the pilot project “Promotion of Sensor-Based Automation System for Fertigation in Horticulture Crops.”
Registration Process: Interested farmers can apply online through the MPFSTS portal. The selection of registered applicants will be carried out through a lottery system.
Subsidy Provisions:
The cost of setting up one unit has been fixed at ₹4 lakh.
Farmers will be eligible for a maximum subsidy of 50%, i.e., up to ₹2 lakh.
To avail the benefits, a farmer must have at least 0.25 hectares of land under horticulture crops.
