Good News for Farmers in Madhya Pradesh – Subsidy Announced on 6 Modern Farm Implements, Application Deadline Extended

Madhya Pradesh government is taking significant steps to connect farmers with modern agricultural technologies. In this direction, the state has announced heavy subsidies on six advanced farm implements, including Happy Seeder and Smart Seeder.

To provide more time for farmers, the application deadline has been extended to 26th September 2025, while the lottery process will be conducted on 27th September 2025.

Which Implements Are Covered?

A total of 8 farm machines have been included under this scheme:

1. Happy Seeder
2. Super Seeder
3. Smart Seeder
4. Shredder/Mulcher
5. Zero Till Seed-cum-Fertilizer Drill
6. Baler
7. Hay Rake / Straw Rake
8. Slasher

These machines are highly beneficial as they reduce cultivation costs and increase productivity.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria):

1. All categories of farmers from Madhya Pradesh are eligible.
2. The farmer must have a registered tractor in their name.
3. Farmers who have already received subsidies on these implements in the last five years are not eligible.

Subsidy Details:

1. Small & Marginal Farmers – 40% to 50% subsidy on unit cost.
2. Other Farmers – 30% to 40% subsidy on unit cost.

Security Deposit (DD Amount):

At the time of application, farmers need to deposit a demand draft (DD) as a security amount.

Note: Applications without the required DD will not be considered valid.

 Important: The application process will only be completed through E-KYC (fingerprint authentication).
