  • Highest Price: Maigalganj (UP) recorded the top price at ₹5,700 per quintal.
  • Lowest Price: Damnagar (Gujarat) reported just ₹950 per quintal.
  • Moderate Prices: Most Punjab markets saw rates between ₹3,200 – ₹5,000 per quintal.
  • Highest Arrivals: Surat (Gujarat) led with 75 tonnes of green chilli arrivals.
  • Lowest Arrivals: Very limited supply in Punjab’s Kalanaur (0.01 tonnes) and Raya (0.02 tonnes) kept volumes low.

Overall, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab markets maintained stronger prices, while Damnagar (Gujarat) and Jamnania (UP) recorded the weakest rates.

Farmer Advisory:

  1. In areas where prices are above ₹5,000 per quintal (Maigalganj, Anandnagar, Lalru), farmers can sell immediately to secure good profits.
  2. In markets with very low rates (₹950–1,300 per quintal), farmers should hold their stock if possible and wait for next week’s trend.
  3. Farmers bringing high-quality produce are more likely to secure premium prices given the rising demand.
  4. Small farmers should consider cold storage or local traders to avoid distress selling in low-price markets.
