Uttar Pradesh, substantial quantities of key crops have been approved for MSP procurement: Gram (Chana): 224,000 metric tonnes (worth ₹1,316 crore), Lentil (Masoor): 677,000 metric tonnes (valued at ₹4,739 crore at ₹70,000 per tonne), Mustard: 530,000 metric tonnes (valued at ₹3,286 crore at ₹62,000 per tonne). This decision is set to benefit millions of farmers in the state by ensuring stable prices and assured procurement.

Karnataka: Safflower Procurement under PSS:

Karnataka, procurement of 6,923 metric tonnes of safflower (kusum) has been approved under the PSS, which represents 25% of the proposed quantity. The MSP for safflower has been fixed at ₹65,400 per metric tonne, taking the total procurement value to approximately ₹45.27 crore.
