The Madhya Pradesh government is continuously working towards making farmers more self-reliant and technologically empowered. As part of this effort, the government has announced a subsidy on Mini Dal Mills under the E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana (E-Agricultural Equipment Subsidy Scheme).
The application process for the Mini Dal Mill subsidy started on August 18, 2025. Initially, the last date to apply was August 24, 2025. However, the government has now extended the deadline to August 27, 2025.
This decision comes as a relief for farmers who could not apply earlier due to time constraints or incomplete documents. It is important to note that all other terms and conditions of the scheme remain unchanged. The beneficiary selection will be done through a lottery system, ensuring equal opportunity for all farmers.
While applying, farmers must create a Demand Draft (DD) from their own bank account in the name of the Assistant Agriculture Engineer of their respective district.
Applications submitted without the mandatory security deposit will not be considered valid.
The primary aim of this scheme is to provide farmers with modern agricultural machinery, enabling them to carry out post-harvest processing on their own.
With the help of a Mini Dal Mill, farmers can sell their produce directly in the market as processed dal (pulses) instead of raw crops. This will not only increase their profits but also reduce dependence on middlemen.
