					Today, garlic prices across India witnessed major fluctuations. While some farmers received as low as ₹200 per quintal, premium-quality garlic fetched record prices of up to ₹15,000 per quintal in several markets.
In Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, trading remained active prices fell in a few mandis due to heavy arrivals, while top-grade garlic pushed the market upward in others.
Agricultural experts say that domestic demand remains strong, particularly during this festive season. Farmers producing clean, high-quality garlic and selling at the right time are expected to earn excellent profits in the coming days.

Madhya Pradesh: Wide Variation in Garlic Prices:
	- Akodia Mandi: Arrivals stood at 1,410 tonnes, with prices between ₹200 and ₹1,250 per quintal.
 
	- Bhopal Mandi: Chinese garlic sold between ₹2,100 and ₹2,200 per quintal. Total arrival – 68.31 tonnes.
 
	- Daloda Mandi: Heavy arrivals of 134.09 tonnes recorded; prices ranged from ₹1,100 to ₹12,100 per quintal, with premium-quality garlic getting top bids.
 
	- Damoh Mandi: Garlic sold between ₹2,500 and ₹3,200 per quintal with 8.8 tonnes arrival, keeping the market stable.
 
	- Dewas Mandi: Prices between ₹1,100 and ₹4,000 per quintal; arrivals were low at 0.2 tonnes.
 
	- Indore Mandi: Average-quality garlic traded at ₹1,200–₹1,300 per quintal; arrivals reached 209.84 tonnes.
 
	- Jaora Mandi: Desi garlic fetched strong rates between ₹5,400 and ₹5,500 per quintal on 114.02 tonnes of arrivals.
 
	- Kalapipal Mandi: Prices ranged ₹1,200–₹3,000, while the F&V section reported premium varieties up to ₹6,700 per quintal.
 
	- Manasa Mandi: Arrivals were 36.44 tonnes, with prices between ₹200 and ₹6,010, showing a wide variation by quality.
 
	- Mandsaur Mandi: Heavy arrival of 235.73 tonnes; prices ranged ₹1,600–₹11,100 per quintal, among the highest in the state.
 
	- Neemuch Mandi: Garlic prices varied from ₹300–₹8,200 per quintal; total arrivals 110.85 tonnes.
 
	- Ratlam Mandi: Desi garlic traded between ₹400 and ₹5,811 per quintal with 55.89 tonnes of arrival.
 
Delhi (Azadpur Mandi): Strong Demand for Premium Garlic:
Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi, prices remained firm between ₹2,000 and ₹10,000 per quintal.
Total arrivals stood at 143.6 tonnes, indicating a strong market for premium-quality garlic.
Maharashtra: Sharp Price Movements Across Markets:
	- Akola Mandi: Garlic sold between ₹4,000–₹8,500 per quintal; limited arrival of 3 tonnes kept rates high.
 
	- Amravati Mandi: Prices ranged ₹5,000–₹10,000 per quintal on 10.7 tonnes of arrivals one of the strongest markets today.
 
	- Jalna Mandi: Garlic traded between ₹1,250 and ₹6,500 per quintal with 5.8 tonnes arrival.
 
	- Junnar (Narayangaon): Prices stood between ₹2,000–₹6,500 per quintal; arrival only 0.5 tonnes.
 
	- Nagpur Mandi: Heavy arrival of 70 tonnes; garlic sold between ₹3,000–₹9,000 per quintal, depending on quality.
 
	- Nashik Mandi: Despite only 3.5 tonnes of arrival, prices hit ₹15,000 per quintal the highest in the country today.
 
	- Pune (Moshi Mandi): 5.2 tonnes arrived, with prices between ₹3,000 and ₹4,000 per quintal.
 
Market Analysis and Farmer Strategy:
	- Focus on Quality: Clean, well-dried, and high-grade garlic is commanding ₹10,000–₹15,000 per quintal in select markets.
 
	- Storage Advantage: Farmers in regions with lower rates should consider short-term storage to sell later at higher prices.
