Farmers, today’s garlic market saw dramatic swings across the country, leaving both growers and traders surprised. Prices shot up sharply in several mandis, while heavy arrivals in others caused a sudden crash. In Haryana’s Hansi mandi, garlic reached a remarkable ₹12,000 per quintal, whereas many major markets in Maharashtra recorded steep fluctuations due to oversupply.
Premium-quality garlic fetched excellent rates in select mandis, but markets with heavy arrivals remained under pressure. Today’s national trend clearly shows two contrasting situations strong upward movement in some regions and deep decline in others. If you want to understand the latest garlic prices, market conditions, and what your next step should be, this report is crucial.

Today’s garlic market was full of unexpected movements. Haryana’s Hansi mandi remained the biggest highlight of the day with prices scaling up to ₹12,000 per quintal, bringing much-needed cheer to farmers. Maharashtra’s Hingna and Pune mandis also showed strong upward trends, with garlic selling easily between ₹10,500 and ₹11,000.
Shahabad (Haryana), farmers were deeply disappointed as the minimum price fell to just ₹1,700 per quintal—the lowest rate of the day. Maharashtra’s Nashik and Nagpur also failed to show any major improvement, with prices hovering between ₹2,000 and ₹3,000.
Once again, the classic market rule held true:
Lower supply = Higher price
The day turned out to be mixed: Markets like Hansi, Hingna, and Chandrapur offered impressive profits, while Shahabad and Nashik saw significant drops, causing losses for many farmers. Some regions celebrated, while others remained tense and uncertain.
