The E-Token and Fertilizer Distribution System, launched as a pilot project in the district, has become a major relief for farmers. With this new system, farmers no longer need to stand in long queues for hours to get fertilizers. Upon reaching the double-lock center, they can now receive the required quantity of fertilizer quickly and conveniently.
This hassle-free process is gaining popularity among farmers, who are not only adopting it themselves but also encouraging others to use the E-Token system.

Officials Interact with Farmers for Feedback:

On Monday, senior officials from the Agriculture Department Deputy Director of Agriculture Dr. S. K. Nigam, Assistant Director Ravi Amravanshi, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer (Paton) Dr. Indira Tripathi, and Senior Agriculture Development Officer S. K. Parteti — visited the Double-Lock Centers in Shahpura and Paton to review the implementation of the E-Token system.
The team interacted with farmers who had collected fertilizers using E-Tokens and gathered their feedback. Farmers expressed satisfaction, saying the system has made the process both faster and more convenient. Generating an E-Token takes barely five minutes, and they no longer have to make repeated visits to the distribution center.

A Transparent and Efficient Alternative to the Old System:

Farmers shared that earlier, obtaining a fertilizer token was a time-consuming task, followed by long waiting lines at the centers. With the E-Token system, the entire process has become transparent, time-bound, and efficient. Farmers can now generate tokens online as per their convenience and collect fertilizers at the allotted time without any delay.
At the Shahpura Double-Lock Center, a young farmer named Aadi Jain shared his experience. He said his father cultivates leased land in Chaprat village, where he helps in farming. Jain mentioned that he generated the E-Token through the landowner and received the fertilizer easily using an OTP verification system — without any waiting or difficulty.

Portal Upgraded for Farmers’ Convenience:

According to Dr. S. K. Nigam, Deputy Director of Agriculture, the E-Token portal has been recently upgraded to ensure timely and smooth availability of fertilizers. Farmers can now correct registration errors on their own, and in cases where land details are not displayed on Agri-Stack, they can add them through the new “Add Land Record” option.
He further informed that farmers cultivating temple or trust land, joint land, or leased (Sikmi) land can also generate E-Tokens after verification by the Revenue Sub-Divisional Officer.

Improved Availability and Higher Farmer Satisfaction:

Dr. Nigam noted that the E-Token system has made fertilizer distribution more systematic, transparent, and time-efficient. Farmers are now receiving fertilizers in the required quantity and within the stipulated time frame, while the department can effectively monitor distribution across centers.
