Madhya Pradesh Weather Today: Chilly Nights, Rising Pollution - Bhopal and Indore Weather Updates

Madhya Pradesh is currently experiencing rapidly changing weather conditions. While daytime temperatures feel warm due to bright sunshine, nights are becoming noticeably cooler. Some districts have recorded temperatures above normal, and even after the official end of the monsoon, light rain is still possible in several areas. In rural regions, people have started bringing out sweaters and blankets, whereas cities are experiencing milder cold. Today, parts of eastern and western Madhya Pradesh may witness light rain or drizzle, while the rest of the state is expected to have normal weather, according to the Meteorological Department.

Bhopal Weather Update:

Bhopal, the maximum temperature is expected to stay around 33°C, and the minimum around 21°C over the next seven days. From October 19 onward, the sky is likely to remain generally clear, with dry weather prevailing.

Indore Weather Update:

Indore may experience partly cloudy skies today, with possibilities of rain, thunderstorms, or dust storms. Over the next seven days, temperatures are expected to range between a maximum of 34°C and a minimum of 20°C. From October 19, the skies are expected to clear up, bringing dry and stable weather conditions.

Bhopal Air Quality Update (AQI):

Ahead of the winter season, air quality in Bhopal has started to deteriorate. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Bhopal recorded an average AQI of 233 on Thursday, categorizing it as ‘Poor’. The industrial area of Mandideep recorded an AQI of 219. In contrast, Indore maintained satisfactory air quality, with an average AQI of 97, falling under the ‘Satisfactory’ category.
