Where Did Arhar Dal Prices Rise the Most?

Between July 9 and 14–15, 2025, almost all mandis in Uttar Pradesh showed positive price movement for arhar dal. The highest spike was recorded in Gonda mandi, where prices jumped from ₹9900 to ₹10200 per quintal — a ₹300 rise (3.03%). Mohammadi mandi also saw a significant ₹170 increase, reaching the season's peak at ₹11,200 per quintal. In Meerut, Shamli, and Moradabad, where prices were already high, minor gains of ₹25 to ₹60 were seen, indicating sustained demand for high-quality tur dal.
