Additionally, except for land records that could not be verified through satellite e-matching, farmers are allowed to book slots for the remaining verified plots, enabling wider participation
To accelerate procurement, the daily slot booking capacity per center has been increased from 1,000 quintals to 1,500 quintals. This move is expected to reduce congestion at centers and allow more farmers to sell their produce within a shorter timeframe.
All necessary arrangements have been made at procurement centers to ensure a hassle-free experience for farmers. Facilities include shaded waiting areas, clean drinking water, adequate packaging materials, weighing systems, stitching machines, and digital infrastructure such as computers and internet connectivity.
Quality testing equipment is also available, along with cleaning tools like fans and sieves, ensuring that farmers face no inconvenience during the procurement process.
MSP with Additional Bonus
For the Rabi Marketing Season 2026–27, wheat is being procured at an MSP of ₹2,585 per quintal, along with a state bonus of ₹40 per quintal. This brings the effective procurement price to ₹2,625 per quintal. Adequate arrangements have been made for storage using jute as well as PP/HDPE bags. So far, 5.175 million quintals of procured wheat have already been transported for storage and distribution.
