Wheat Market Price Today (11 Jan, 2026)
Wheat Market Price Today (11 Jan, 2026)

With the start of the new year, activity in the wheat market is picking up rapidly. The latest wheat mandi prices as of 11 January 2026 are sending positive and confidence-boosting signals for farmers across the country.

The encouraging news is that wheat prices in most mandis are trading well above the MSP of ₹2,425 per quintal, strengthening expectations of better profits in the ongoing Rabi season.

Despite increased arrivals in several major markets of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, good-quality wheat continued to receive strong prices. In mandis where arrivals were very high, prices faced mild pressure, but rates did not fall below the MSP, indicating a stable market outlook.

Today’s wheat mandi trends clearly suggest that quality and arrival volumes will remain the key factors shaping price movements in the coming days. This raises two important questions for farmers:

  1. Which mandi is the most profitable for selling wheat today?
  2. Is it better to sell now or wait a little longer?

The detailed mandi-wise report, price analysis, and farmer advisory below will help you make the right decision at the right time to secure the best possible returns for your crop.

Price and Arrival Trend Analysis

The strongest price momentum today was recorded in Mirzapur, where wheat touched a maximum price of ₹2,700 per quintal, breaking previous records. Najafgarh (Delhi) and Ghazipur also reported strong prices in the range of ₹2,680–₹2,690, well above the MSP.

Markets such as Jaunpur and Varanasi maintained firm prices between ₹2,630 and ₹2,650, reflecting steady demand for good-quality wheat.

On the downside, Rura APMC, which saw the highest arrivals at 550 tonnes, traded in the range of ₹2,380–₹2,430, close to the MSP. Lalganj and Hargao also reported comparatively lower prices.

In terms of arrivals, Rura, Varanasi, and Raebareli recorded the highest inflows, which created mild pressure on prices. In contrast, Najafgarh, Farrukhabad, and Lalganj, with lower arrivals, saw relatively stronger rates.

Advisory for Farmers

  • Farmers with good-quality wheat can consider selling in Mirzapur, Varanasi, Ghazipur, and Delhi mandis to secure premium prices.

  • In high-arrival markets such as Rura and Raebareli, holding stocks for a few days or opting for government procurement may be a better option.

  • Since wheat prices are trading above MSP, phased selling—selling a portion now and the rest later—can help small farmers manage risk and maximize returns.
