Rain and Temperature Drop in Uttar Pradesh

The weather pattern across several northern states of India is changing. Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall over the next few days, along with a drop in temperatures.

Rain and Temperature Drop in Uttar Pradesh:

Residents of Uttar Pradesh have been struggling with intense heat and humidity. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is likely in eastern UP, including Lucknow, from September 30 to October 3. From October 4, sunny conditions may return. The recent scattered showers are beneficial for paddy crops. Starting Tuesday, rainfall is expected in over 35 districts, including Lucknow, which may lead to a decrease in temperatures.

Ongoing Rain in Madhya Pradesh, Dussehra Also Likely Wet:

Although the monsoon is gradually retreating from Madhya Pradesh, rainfall continues in several districts. The active monsoon trough and low-pressure systems could bring light to moderate showers across the state in the next 24 hours. Yellow alerts have been issued for districts including Bhopal, Indore, and Jabalpur. A new weather system is expected from October 1, making rainfall possible even on Dussehra, October 2. Recent showers have been recorded in Betul, Narsinghpur, Ratlam, and Ujjain, while the Tawa Dam has opened five gates due to rising water levels.

Monsoon Returns in Rajasthan, Rain Alert in 20 Districts:

Western disturbances have revived monsoon rainfall in Rajasthan. Jaipur and surrounding districts experienced rain on Sunday, with light showers continuing even under bright sunshine. On Monday, September 29, light to moderate rain is expected in 20 districts. The Meteorological Department has issued yellow alerts for 18 districts in eastern Rajasthan and 2 in western Rajasthan. Districts at risk include Udaipur, Banswara, Kota, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh.
