The highest jump in Basmati prices today was recorded in Maoth, where rates climbed to ₹3,370 per quintal, making it the top-paying mandi in the state. Banda (₹3,350), Jahanagirabad (₹3,141), and Dadri (₹3,201) also posted strong prices, showing a firm upward trend.
On the other hand, markets like Bhezwai, Babrala, and Islam Nagar saw softer rates in the ₹2,300–₹2,500 range due to higher arrivals, which created slight pressure on prices.
Terms of volume, Bhezwai, Maoth, and Jahanagirabad recorded the highest arrivals, with thousands of quintals flooding these mandis. Even though prices touched high levels initially, increased supply kept the rates from rising further.
Meanwhile, low-arrival markets such as Atrauli, Ghaziabad, and Dankaur maintained stronger and more stable price levels.
