Advice for Farmers
- Target High-Price Markets: Farmers in Mau (Dohrighat), Ghazipur (Jangipur), and Saharanpur can get up to ₹4,000 per quintal — these are the best-selling centers currently.
- Store Crops in Low-Price Zones: Districts like Fatehpur, Lalganj, and Balrampur where rates are between ₹2,600–₹2,900, storing rice for a few weeks may fetch higher returns later.
- Focus on Quality: Premium varieties such as ‘1009 Kar’ consistently bring ₹300–₹500 more per quintal — proper grading and cleaning help secure better prices.
- Keep Checking Daily Prices: Market rates change every day. Regular monitoring helps farmers decide the right time and place to sell for maximum profit.
