Market Analysis: Arrivals and Price Trends:

Today’s rice market clearly reflected a sharp quality-based price difference. Premium and high-grade rice received significantly better prices, while ordinary and broken rice varieties continued to trade within a limited range.

Sultanpur APMC recorded the highest arrivals at 153.84 tonnes. Banthra and Azamgarh mandis also witnessed strong arrivals, which kept prices for common-quality rice relatively stable. Although heavy supply created mild pressure in some markets, overall demand remained steady.

The highest rice price was recorded in Lucknow APMC, where premium rice sold at up to ₹8,026 per quintal. Gorakhpur mandi also reported strong rates reaching ₹7,575 per quintal. In Varanasi APMC, premium rice traded up to ₹4,967, while Pukhrayan mandi recorded rates of nearly ₹3,490 per quintal.
