Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the holistic development of the poor and tribal communities under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Addressing a grand tribal convention held in Majhouli, located in the Dhauhani Assembly constituency of Sidhi district, Dr. Yadav emphasized his deep emotional connect with the Vindhya region and assured that no stone would be left unturned in its development.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the irrigation coverage in Madhya Pradesh, which was only 7 lakh hectares in 2003, has now expanded to 65 lakh hectares. The state government aims to increase this by an additional 1 lakh hectares over the next four years. He also noted that farmers are being provided free electricity through the Solar Pump Scheme and will have the opportunity to earn income by selling surplus power generated.
The PM Janman Yojana and Dharti Aaba Yojana, Dr. Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development and infrastructure projects worth ₹68.31 crore. This includes the groundbreaking of 37 projects worth ₹61.24 crore and the inauguration of 6 completed works worth ₹7.06 crore.
Aligning with the vision of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh government has revised the investment and turnover thresholds for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), increasing them up to 2.5 times. This significant move aims to boost industrial growth, enhance efficiency, promote technological advancement, and improve financial accessibility in the sector. The revised limits are expected to not only benefit established businesses but also encourage youth entrepreneurship and self-employment across the state.
