Today’s onion market report is highly important for both farmers and traders. In some mandis of Haryana and Bihar, onion prices surged to ₹2,500–₹3,200 per quintal, while in the large markets of Maharashtra and Gujarat, heavy arrivals pushed prices down to as low as ₹200–₹500 per quintal.

The trend is clear — low arrivals are driving prices up, while high arrivals are pulling them down. In such a scenario, keeping track of the latest mandi prices is crucial for farmers to sell their produce at the right time and right place to maximize profit.

  2. Take advantage of low-arrival markets (Bihar, Haryana) where prices are strong and profitable.
  3. Farmers with storage facilities should consider holding onions as festive demand may push prices higher.
  4. Focus on quality and packaging to secure the best possible rates.
