Today, several mandis across Haryana and Punjab witnessed a limited arrival of mosambi (sweet lime). However, market prices were primarily determined based on quality and grading. Both medium and large-grade mosambi were sold in the mandis, with large-grade fruit fetching better rates. According to today’s mandi price trends, despite the low supply, well-sorted and properly graded mosambi received favorable market rates. This clearly highlights that farmers can earn better profits by focusing on quality and proper packaging of their produce.
