Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state is rapidly becoming economically prosperous. According to NITI Aayog, Madhya Pradesh is currently the fastest-growing state in India, and its development pace will further accelerate in the coming years. Addressing the Agriculture-Industry Conclave 2025 in Sitamau, the Chief Minister said the state government is empowering farmers to become self-reliant in the energy sector. Farmers will now be able to generate solar power and use it for agricultural pumps and household purposes.

Solar Pumps at Just 10% Cost for Farmers:

Dr. Yadav announced that farmers will receive solar pumps by paying only 10% of the total cost. For 2, 3, and 5 horsepower solar pumps, farmers will bear just 10% of the expense, while the remaining amount will be subsidized by the state government. Under this scheme, 3.2 million solar pumps will be distributed over the next three years. This will significantly reduce electricity bills for farmers and offer a new source of income by enabling them to sell surplus electricity.

Branding of Fruits from Madhya Pradesh to Boost Profits:

The Chief Minister emphasized the need to make agriculture more profitable by promoting both international technologies and local innovations. The state government is working towards granting agriculture the status of an industry. Efforts are being made to ensure fair pricing, storage, and local food processing facilities for agricultural produce, which will allow farmers to earn higher returns. Highlighting the excellent production of fruits like oranges and bananas in the state, Dr. Yadav advocated branding them under the "Madhya Pradesh" name. He urged farmers to make every inch of their farmland productive to achieve prosperity.

Satellite Monitoring to Prevent Stubble Burning:

Dr. Yadav warned against stubble burning, stating it reduces soil fertility. He mentioned that satellite monitoring is now being used to detect such practices. He appealed to farmers not to burn stubble and informed them that the government is providing subsidized machinery to manage the residue sustainably.

Madhya Pradesh Emerging as a Leader in Agriculture and Horticulture:

Minister of Horticulture and Food Processing, Shri Narayan Singh Kushwah, said Madhya Pradesh is an agriculturally dominant state making consistent progress in horticulture and food processing. The government is promoting high-quality seeds, modern techniques, and offering subsidies for processing units. He said the state has become a leader in the production of spice crops in India.

Farmers Receive Direct Benefits; Inauguration and Foundation-Laying Ceremonies Held:

CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated two Maharishi Sandipani School buildings constructed at a cost of ₹33.14 crore and ₹33.49 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for the ₹19.31 crore Suwasra-Runija road and the ₹9.10 crore joint Tehsil office building in Kayampur.
