The strongest price momentum today was recorded at Sailana APMC, where onion prices touched ₹1,699 per quintal. Sehore, Shujalpur, and Indore also traded near the ₹1,600 level, supported by steady demand.
In contrast, Garoth and Sarangpur saw prices restricted to the ₹500–₹630 range, reflecting clear weakness. Neemuch, where the minimum price dropped to ₹50 per quintal, indicated pressure from poor quality produce and excess supply.
On the arrivals front, Indore (213.71 tonnes) and Ujjain (198.95 tonnes) recorded the highest inflows, preventing prices from sustaining at higher levels. Meanwhile, Mandsaur, Ratlam, and Sarangpur, with much lower arrivals, maintained comparatively stronger prices.
