Mumbai Market Breaks All Records – ₹25,000 per Quintal for Alphonso
Mumbai recorded the highest arrival (951.8 tonnes) of Alphonso mangoes today. Prices ranged from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per quintal, a clear indication that demand for premium quality Hapus mangoes is at its seasonal peak.
Nashik & Aurangabad See High Rates – Up to ₹14,000
In Nashik, arrivals stood at 68.3 tonnes with prices reaching ₹12,000 per quintal. Similarly, in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), the rates ranged from ₹5,000 to ₹14,000, showing a healthy appetite for quality mangoes.
Budget Markets: Aatpadi and Solapur Offer Low-End Rates
While Hapus mangoes sold for sky-high prices in Mumbai, Solapur reported the lowest Hapus prices, with rates between ₹800 and ₹1,400 per quintal. In Aatpadi, mango prices were even lower, from ₹500 to ₹1,500, reflecting either lower quality or weaker local demand.
Pune and Nagpur Markets Remain Steady
In Pune (Moshi and Manjri), rates ranged from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000, which is considered moderate and stable for the season. In Nagpur, Totapuri mangoes were priced between ₹2,000 and ₹2,500, with total arrivals exceeding 209 tonnes — a good option for industrial buyers and processors.
