Apart from these, Azadpur, Indore, and Lashkar markets also remained strong, with prices going up to ₹6,000 per quintal, showing that good-quality green chilli is getting attractive prices in multiple markets.

On the weaker side, Sarangpur recorded prices of only ₹1,300 to ₹1,400 per quintal, while Sendhwa stayed around ₹1,200 to ₹1,700 per quintal and Jabalpur remained at ₹1,500 to ₹1,900 per quintal. This clearly shows softer demand or weaker market conditions in these mandis.

Talking about arrivals, Azadpur APMC received the highest quantity with 556.9 tons, making it the biggest arrival center in this report. In comparison, Indore saw 15 tons and Lashkar received 14.6 tons, while most markets in Madhya Pradesh recorded arrivals of less than 1 ton.

Very low arrivals were seen in Sanwer (0.06 ton), Timarni (0.05 ton), and Barwaha and Hatpipliya (0.1 ton each). In these low-arrival markets, prices stayed higher, while in bigger markets prices varied based on quality and supply.

Suggestions for Farmers:

For green chilli growers, today’s trend clearly shows that markets with lower arrivals and better produce quality are offering higher prices. Farmers who have fresh, bright, and well-graded green chillies may keep an eye on markets like Keshopur, Sanwer, Hatpipliya, Maihar, and Lashkar, where stronger prices were recorded.

On the other hand, in markets where prices are weak, such as Sarangpur, Sendhwa, and Jabalpur, it may be better to avoid immediate sale unless necessary and first compare nearby mandi trends.
