Advisory for Farmers

  1. Do not rush to sell common paddy below MSP, especially in high-arrival mandis like Jalalabad and Rura.
  2. Basmati paddy growers can take advantage of the current strong prices.
  3. Farmers with storage facilities may hold paddy for a few days; prices are likely to improve as arrivals decrease.
  4. When choosing a mandi, consider both price and arrival situation, not just the headline rate.
