Garlic Prices in Uttar Pradesh Markets:

  1. Badaun Market: About 1.6 tonnes of garlic arrived today. Prices ranged from ₹5,790 to ₹5,940 per quintal. Stable demand led to a slight increase in rates. Traders expect prices to rise further next week.

  2. Gulawati Market: Only 0.1 tonne of desi garlic arrived. Prices remained between ₹5,000 and ₹5,200 per quintal. Despite the low arrival, trade remained stable.

  3. Khair Market: Approximately 0.5 tonne of garlic arrived, with prices ranging from ₹4,500 to ₹6,500 per quintal. Price differences were seen based on quality.

  4. Magalganj Market: 0.5 tonne of garlic arrived, priced between ₹3,400 and ₹3,470 per quintal. Weak local demand kept rates stable.

  5. Mugarabadshahpur Market: 1.5 tonnes of average-quality garlic arrived. Prices ranged from ₹5,400 to ₹5,600 per quintal. Traders noted that only clean and dry stock fetched higher prices.

  6. Nautanwa Market: 0.1 tonne of garlic arrived. Prices ranged from ₹2,800 to ₹3,000 per quintal. Lower quality caused a drop in rates.

  7. Payagpur & Shikarpur Markets: Both markets saw 0.3 tonne arrivals each, with garlic selling for ₹5,800 to ₹6,000 per quintal. Clean, dry stock fetched premium rates.

  8. Siana Market: Today’s 0.2 tonne arrival drew attention because prices surged to ₹7,500–₹8,500 per quintal. High quality and strong local demand pushed prices upward.

Garlic Price in Punjab:

  1. Chamkaur Sahib Market: 0.5 tonne of garlic arrived, priced between ₹5,900 and ₹6,000 per quintal. Trade was stable.

  2. Garhshankar Market: 0.8 tonne of average-quality garlic arrived. Prices ranged from ₹5,000 to ₹6,000 per quintal.

  3. Gurdaspur Market: About 0.3 tonne arrived, with rates between ₹5,000 and ₹6,000 per quintal.

  4. Jalalabad Market: Only 0.1 tonne arrived, but prices were high at ₹7,000 per quintal.

  5. Ludhiana Market: 2 tonnes of garlic arrived, with rates ranging from ₹2,300 to ₹5,200 per quintal. Both average and low-quality stock was observed.

  6. Patiala Market: 2.5 tonnes arrived, prices ranged from ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 per quintal.

  7. Patti Market: 1 tonne sold for ₹4,000–₹5,000 per quintal.

  8. Tanda Urmur Market: Only 0.2 tonne arrived, yet rates skyrocketed to ₹11,000–₹13,000 per quintal, among the highest in the country today.

Garlic Rate in Rajasthan:

  1. Jodhpur Market: A large arrival of 58.5 tonnes was recorded today. Prices ranged from ₹2,000 to ₹6,000 per quintal. Differences in quality led to a wide price range.

  2. Sri Ganganagar Market: About 40 tonnes of garlic arrived in good condition. Prices reached ₹7,300 to ₹7,700 per quintal, among the highest in the state.

 Garlic Price in Madhya Pradesh:

  • Indore Market: Around 4 tonnes of garlic arrived. Prices ranged from ₹1,650 to ₹6,200 per quintal. Clean, moisture-free garlic fetched higher prices, while lower-quality stock sold for less.

Garlic Prices in Maharashtra Markets:

  • Shrirampur Market: Today, 2.6 tonnes of garlic arrived. Other varieties sold for ₹4,000–₹5,000 per quintal. Trade was stable, while traders anticipate a price increase in the coming days.

  1. Keep garlic clean and dry - Moisture can cause a sharp drop in prices.
