Vegetable markets witnessed keen interest in cabbage prices today, as farmers and traders closely tracked the latest trends. On 05 February 2026, mandi data from major markets in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra clearly showed that prices were largely driven by arrival volumes and produce quality. While limited arrivals supported higher prices in some markets, heavy supply in others kept rates under pressure.

Markets such as Dhamnod, Sendhwa, and Bhusawal offered noticeable relief to farmers, with cabbage fetching comparatively better prices. In contrast, large markets like Indore saw prices remain flat due to heavy arrivals. Overall, today’s trade emphasized the importance of choosing the right mandi at the right time for better returns.

Advisory for Farmers

  • Farmers with good-quality cabbage may consider selling in Dhamnod, Sendhwa, and Bhusawal to secure better prices.
  • In high-arrival markets like Indore, prices are currently under pressure; delaying sales may be beneficial if storage is possible.
  • Keep an eye on nearby low-arrival markets, as prices can rise suddenly.
  • Grading and proper packaging of fresh cabbage can significantly improve returns.
